    Cause Analysis and Improvement Measures on Ablation of Gasifier Quench Nozzle

    • The blinds of the quench nozzle of a gasifier often ablated. The causes of ablation were analyzed from the aspects of technology and equipment. The results show that the reasons for the ablation of the quench nozzle were the blockage of the quench channel, the lack of quench gas volume, the lack of inert gas in the annular space and the excessive gap in the annular space. The ablation of the gasifier quench nozzle was effectively improved by the measures of process optimization, quench box transformation, and quench box blinds transformation.
