    Effect of Dezincification on Mechanical Properties of Galvanized Sheet

    • The mechanical properties of galvanized sheet with different kinds of sheet, substrate thickness and galvanized coating mass before and after dezincification were compared and analyzed. The results show that after dezincification, the r value (plastic strain ratio), n value (tensile strain hardening exponent) and percentage elongation after fracture of the substrate increased, and the yield strength and tensile strength slightly reduced. After dezincification, the change range of n value and r value decrease with the increase of substrate thickness, and increase with the increase of galvanized coating mass. The change of mechanical properties has little effect on the formability of steel plate in actual use.
