Measurement Uncertainty Evaluation on Tensile Strength of Q235 Steel

    • According to GB/T 228.1-2010, the measurement uncertainty of the tensile strength of Q235 steel was analyzed and calculated. The results show that the tensile strength of the Q235 steel was 580 MPa. When the confidence is 95%, the inclusion factor k=2, and the relative expanded uncertainty was 1.6%. The measurement uncertainty report can be expressed as Rm=580×(1±1.6%)=(580±9) MPa, k=2.
