Abstract
The tensile strength of MAR-M247 nickel base superalloy at 900℃ was tested by different tensile rates, the effect of tensile rate on the strength of superalloy was studied. The results show that the specified plastic extension strength and tensile strength of MAR-M247 nickel base superalloy were higher with higher rate under constant test rate. The high temperature tensile strength of MAR-M247 nickel base superalloy increased with the increased of tensile rate when the displacement rate of crossbeam was different. Whether or when acceleration is needed in the later stage of yield strength, the test results are more accurate, which is still lack of theoretical and practical support, and a lot of test research work needs to be carry out.
