Effect of Measurement Conditions on Surface Waviness Measurement Results of Automobile Plate

    • The surface waviness of the automobile plate was measured by three different filters, by comparing with the standard sample blocks, the test results were compared and analyzed with the different evaluation lengths and test rates. The results show that the waviness contour obtained by 2RC filter was greatly influenced by the evaluation length, the longer the evaluation length was, the greater the waviness was. The high-frequency component in the waviness contour obtained by exponential filter was relatively small, with the increase of evaluation length, the waviness decreased. The Wa0.8-8 and Wa0.8 waviness contour obtained by λc=0.8 mm, Gaussian filter and 5 stage polynomial regression contained less high-frequency components, and the longer the evaluation length, the greater the waviness. Within a certain speed range, the influence of test rate on the measurement value of waviness Wsa was small.
