    Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Diffusion Welded Joint of 06Cr19Ni10 Stainless Steel/A283 Low Carbon Steel

    • The diffusion bonding of 06Cr19Ni10 stainless steel and A283 low carbon steel was carried out by vacuum diffusion welding, and the microstructure and mechanical properties of the welded joint were studied. The results show that the tensile strength and yield strength of diffusion welded joint of 06Cr19Ni10 stainless steel and A283 low carbon steel increased with the increase of welding temperature, and the elongation after fracture and impact energy absorption of welded joint were the largest when welding temperature was 850℃. When the size of Cr23C6 precipitates was large, the toughness of diffusion welded joint would be reduced, which would become the crack source leading to the fracture failure of the welded joint.
