Abstract
The remanufacturing process of the workpieces was simulated by two methods of electroplating and welding. The variation law of residual stress on the surface of the workpieces after electroplating was studied. The residual stress measurement results of the welding zone by X-ray diffraction method and indentation strain method were compared. The results show that with the increase of the thickness of the chromium electroplating layers, the residual stress of the coating increased first, then decreased and then increased again. The overall changing tendency of residual stress on two sides of the welding seam obtained by X-ray diffraction method and indentation strain method was consistent, but due to the different test principles, the test results of the two methods had random difference at different positions.
