    Application and Status of High-Strain Rate Tensile Test of Metallic Materials

    • With the shortening of automobile development cycle, the need for material database is more and more urgent. The test of steel mechanical properties under dynamic conditions is becoming more important. Different laboratories use different test standards, equipments and data processing methods, the generated data are usually no comparability. In order to improve data quality of metallic materials high-strain rate tensile test, the key test factors, such as test standards, test equipments and data processing methods, were analyzed in detail. The results show that high-strain rate tensile tests need to be improved in aspects of test equipments and test standards.
