    Crack Analysis of Base Plate Bolt for Main Steam Isolation Valve of a 1 000 MW Nuclear Power Unit

    • By means of macroscopic analysis, chemical composition analysis, mechanical property test, metallographic analysis, fracture scanning electron microscope analysis and energy spectrum analysis, the crack property of the base plate bolt for main steam isolation valve of a 1 000 MW nuclear power unit was analyzed. The results show that the crack of the bolt was forging crack formed during forging (rolling).
