    Development of Dynamic and Static Load Test Rig for Escalator and Moving Walks and Revision Suggestions for GB 16899-2011

    • A dynamic and static load test rig for escalator and moving walks was designed and developed based on electro-hydraulic servo principle. The structure principle, main technical parameters and technical characteristics of the test rig were briefly described. According to GB 16899-2011, a lot of experiments were carried out with the the test rig. The results show that the test rig had the characteristics of high speed, high accuracy and high automation; and the current GB 16899-2011 had some misdescriptions, the corresponding amendments to the unsuitable provisions of the standard were proposed.
