Abstract
Tensile test at elevated temperature is a method to evaluate the mechanical properties of metallic materials at elevated temperature. Compared with tensile test at room temperature, the temperature control and measurement system have been added to the tensile test at elevated temperature, and the influence factors of the test results are also more complex. Combined with years of work experience, the key elements in the specimen preparation, test installation, temperature control and tensile process of the tensile test at elevated temperature of metallic materials were analyzed. The purpose was to help testers to correctly understand the key points of tensile test at elevated temperature, effectively reduce the test error and improve the accuracy of test data.
