    Influence Factors of Fracture Position Deviation of High Strength Steel Plates during Tensile Testing

    • Influence factors of fracture position deviation of high strength steel plates during tensile testing were analyzed and discussed from the following four aspects:specimen preparation, coaxiality of testing machines, specimen clamping and specimen material. The results show that the former three factors all could result in fracture position deviation and lead to invalid tensile test, and the last factor would lead to fluctuation of plasticity of the material. So the laboratory should guarantee the accuracy of specimen preparation, coaxiality of testing machines and standardized operation of testers, and more attention should be paid to the control of production process and parameters.
