    Rrogression of Online Detection Technologies of Mechanical Property of Cold-Rolled Strip Steels

    • Mechanical property is an important index to evaluate the quality of strip steel products, and is the main basis of downstream product design and material selection. Detecting the mechanical property parameters of the strip steels is an important means to ensure the quality of the products. The various online detection technologies were reviewed, including Barkhausen noise method, multi-frequency eddy current method, electromagnetic induction method, multiple magnetic parameters synthesis method, etc., the working principle and research progress of various technologies were analyzed, the practical application status of them was discussed, and their respective applicable scopes and the advantages and disadvantages were pointed out. Finally, taking the 3MA system, Baosteel's online detection device for high strength thin strip steels, as an example, the detection precision and effect were analyzed. The results show that the detection error of the 3MA system was within the specified range. Compared to the traditional offline detection technology, online detection technology could ensure the complete and continuous real-time detection of the cold-rolled strip steels, be used to adjust rolling technology according to the detection data, and ensure the quality of the cold-rolled strip steels.
