    Biaxial Tensile Testing of Cruciform Specimens

    • The focus of this work was to present a comprehensive review of the history and current situation of the biaxial tensile test technology and to prospect its development tendency by introducing the different cruciform specimen design proposal, biaxial tensile testing equipments and related theories. By illustrating the research achievements, the advantages of the test method were summarized:mechanical properties of metal sheets under complicated loading conditions could be evaluated more precisely, and more effective theoretical basis for plastic materials processing could be provided.
