    Failure Cases and Reasons Analysis of Non-supervised Metallic Parts in Coal-fired Power Plants

    • The general reasons and improvement measures of the failure of non-supervised metallic parts in coal-fired power plants were summed up by the study of several failure cases. The results show that heat treatment process problems, design problems, maintenance problems and welding problems were main reasons for the failure of the non-supervised metallic parts, and the failure frequency of these metal parts could be reduced by strengthening supervision in procurement, installation, inspection and other links.
