    Measurement of High-temperature Elastic Modulus of Titanium Alloys by Creep Tests

    • Due to the difficulty in measuring the elastic modulus of titanium alloy at high temperature, it is usually based on empirical and theoretical values in the design and application. Based on the analysis of the elastic modulus and creep test characteristics of materials, a test method for measuring the high-temperature elastic modulus of titanium alloys by the creep testing machine was put forward. Through creep test data of two kinds of BT25 and TC4 titanium alloys under different temperature and stress, the high-temperature elastic modulus was obtained. The results show that: the data of high-temperature elastic modulus of titanium alloys obtained by the creep testing machine were concentrated, and the precision was better compared with those of the results obtained by tensile testing machines.
