Abstract
With the development of aviation industry, the demand of high-temperature titanium alloy continues to grow, and its creep property at high temperature directly affects the development and use of this material. The creep tests carried out on the TC4 titanium alloy bars which had the widest application range. The relationship of total elongation, residual deformation stress and the time of this material was analyzed under the condition of 400℃ and certain residual deformation. The results show that:at the temperature of 400℃, the time required for the creep stability of TC4 titanium bars at 400℃ got shorter with the increase of test stress; the steady creep strain rate increased with the increase of test stress; under the condition of the specified residual deformation of 0.1% and 0.2%, the test stress had a approximate linear relation with the test time in the test stage after taking logarithm.
