    Finite Element Simulation on Micro Shear Punch Test Influence Factors of High Strengthen Steel

    • First, with the self-made micro shear punch test equipment, micro shear punch tests on Q460 high strength steel specimens with different thicknesses were conducted to validate the reliability of the equipment. Then the finite element model (FEM) of the micro shear punch test of Q460 high strength steel was established, and the reliability of the model was also verified. Finally, the effects of different factors on the micro shear punch test results were investigated by using the established FEM. The results show that the effects of load velocity and friction coefficient on the test results were not obvious, while the effect of pin shape was notable.
