    Material Quality Status Assessment of Steam Pipelines of the Boiler Soot Blower

    • The steam pipelines of the boiler soot blower of a power plant were sampled and analyzed from the aspects of material quality inspection, pipeline strength and remaining life calculation. The results show that: the geometric dimension, chemical composition, microstructure and mechanical properties of the pipelines could meet the standard requirements. By calculation, the actual thickness of the pipeline and straight pipe hoop stress could meet the strength requirements. When the working pressure was less than 4 MPa and working temperature was less than 400 ℃, the remaining life of the straight pipe was more than 1×105 h.
