Abstract
In generation-III passive pressurized water reactor (PWR) component control drive mechanism, the latch material Stellite 6 alloy casting, pin material HS25 alloy and drive rod material 12Cr13 stainless steel would wear each other, and in order to verify the wearing property of the latch material, friction pair test of the latch material was required. The actual wearing conditions of the latches was simulated and the friction test schemes were designed. Through measuring the mass lost of the wearing test specimens, the wearing status of the latch material was analyzed, and the best friction pairs were found. The results show that latch material Stellite 6 alloy casting was matched with pin material HS25 alloy, and HS25 alloy was more suitable to be the revolving member than Stellite 6 alloy. The hardness of latch material Stellite 6 alloy casting should be controlled in the range of 40-42 HRC.
