    Application of Carburized Case Depth Online Test Equipment without Cutting

    • Traditional carburized case depth test methods all need to cut samples from the products and prepare metallurgraphic samples, and then by metallurgraphic method or testing microhardness to get the carburized case depth. The results of these traditional methods are rather accurate, but they could hardly meet the quality testing pace on the products of high efficiency heat treatment machine because of their poor efficiency and high cost. The test principle, application method, auxiliary fixture design and actual application case of an imported LD3000AF type hardness tester when used for carburized case depth test, were introduce. It was proved that by the equipment, the carburized case depth could be tested accurately without destroying the part. The test efficiency could be improved greatly, while the test cost could be reduced.
