    Application of Automatic Electrolytic Etching Technique in Continuous Cast Billets Etch Test for Macrostructure and Defect

    • Several electrolytic etching modes for macro-etch test of continuous cast billets were analyzed and compared. And an effective automatic electrolytic etching technology and its equipment —— Electrolytic Macroetcher were introduced. The basic characteristics and application practice of some steel mills in our country of this technology were reviewed, and the wide application feasibility of this technology in iron and steel enterprises in the future was discussed.
