In-field Brinell Hardness Inspection Technology

Various testing methods and testing instruments of Brinell hardness test and their application characteristics were summarized. Portable Brinell hardness testers of dynamic and static type force application, rocker arm type and bridge type Brinell hardness testing machines, the state of the art depth measuring rapid Brinell hardness testing method for online automatic hardness inspection, and two applications of automatic Brinell hardness testing pipeline were introduced. The automatic Brinell indentation measuring device with 100% automatic recognition rate was also introduced. The application of new type in-field online testing equipments for Brinell hardness inspection can improve the quality management of enterprises and bring technical progresses of relevant products.
