Status and Prospection of In-situ Physical Properties Testing Technologies for Metallic Materials in China

  • A huge volume of engineering structures, industry machineries and equipments are required to check their running health by in-situ physical properties testing technologies because Chinese economy is the second largest in the world. The status and issues of in-situ physical properties testing technologies in China were briefly reviewed, their development trend in the future was discussed, and some proposals were given to suit the increasing needs for in-suit test.
