    Method of Surface Waviness Testing for Automotive Steel Sheets

    • In order to meet the actual application requirement in automotive products material selection,design and development,as well as factory inspection and evaluation of automotive steel sheet raw materials in mass production,according to the automotive steel sheet production conditions in national & international fields and referring to the steel sheet surface waviness testing method,a kind of surface waviness testing method which highlighted the characteristics of automotive steel sheets and was convenient to effectively guide on-site specific operations,was summarized after a plenty of comparison test and verification test.9 years of testing practices and inspection results show that the testing method is reasonably designed on testing parameters setting,sampling requirement and testing positions,the testing procedure has an excellent operability,the testing process is stable and reliable,and the testing data have no controversy with steel plants.And the testing method can align with the ISO international standards,and can be generally adopted in automotive field on automotive steel sheet surface waviness testing.
