Abstract: By analyzing various forms of ferrite in the quenched and tempered microstructure,it was considered that the morphology of the ferrite reflected the heat machining process and heat treatment quality of the piece.The formation process of the ferrite related not only to the heat treatment,but also to the former procedure such as forging.So detailed analysis on the forming reasons for ferrite was usually required,which could provide references for improving the quality of products.
