    秦始皇兵马俑坑出土青铜兵器的锈蚀形态和特征

    Morphologies and Characterization of Corrosion on Bronze Weapon Excavated from Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s Mausoleum, China

    • 摘要: 采用扫描电子显微镜、光学显微镜和能谱仪等仪器, 对秦始皇兵马俑坑出土的青铜矛样和青铜残剑锋的锈蚀形态和特征进行了较为细致的研究。结果表明: 青铜矛样和残剑锋的表层组织结构都可分为完全矿化层、过渡层和心部原始材料3个特征层; 但青铜残剑锋的锈蚀程度相比青铜矛样要轻, 这是因为其锡含量高于青铜矛样, 在相同的埋藏条件下, 青铜器的锡含量越高, 其耐腐蚀性能越强; 同时通过分析还推断出青铜矛样和残剑锋埋藏在少氯的环境中。

       

      Abstract: The corrosion morphologies and characterization of bronze spear and bronze sword, excavated from Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s mausoleum, China, were examined by using scanning electron microscope, optical microscope and energy dispersive spectrometer. The results show that the microstructures of both bronze spear and bronze sword were composed of three distinction layers, including completely mineralized layer, transition layer and core original material. However, the rust degree of the bronze sword with higher Sn element content was milder than that of the bronze spear, which was owing to the corrosion-resistance of ancient bronze could be increased with the increase of Sn element content when they were buried in the same conditions. In addition, the bronze spear and bronze sword were also discussed and proposed to be embedded in a little chlorine environment.
