Abstract: The feasibility of differentiating nylon materials in common use with TGA and DSC thermo-analysis techniques was discussed. The obvious similitude and difference at thermo-performance of nylon 6,nylon 66 and nylon 1010 had been found by testing their melting point and thermal decomposition temperature. Accordingly,qualitative analysis of nylon materials in common use was feasible with thermal-analysis technique.
