Abstract: Aiming at the situation of existing different views on how to correctly understand and execute GB/T 228.1-2010 during tensile test of metallic materials, the journal of Physical Testing and Chemical Analysis Part A: Physical Testing had organized many times of special report discussions on some issues of GB/T 228.1-2010 and one time of round robin tests of different tensile test control modes in 2014 participated in by 21 labs cooperating with Baosteel. Based on these discussions and round robin tests as well as self recognition and practice, some proposals on next revision of GB/T 228.1 were submitted.
