Abstract: In order to study the mechanical properties of high strength steel of pump head, the tensile test, impact test and the crack tip opening displacement (CTOD) experiment were did for 25Cr2Ni4MoV and 30CrNi2MoV steel. The results showed that the materials had good mechanical properties at room temperature and excellent fracture toughness under static load conditions.
