Abstract: The shape characteristic of area,roundness and perimeter on graphitic particle is determined by image analyzer and discussion on diversified computing methods for graphite nodularity is carried out,and nodularity of graphite is calculated by SPSS software according to GB/T 9441-1988 national standard. The result shows the way can be improved work efficiency and to avoid artificial antitheses errors refer to tab.1,appendix A of GB/T 9441-1988,and it is considered that mean and standard error value of graphitic area ratio is more closed to true sample state,and it is easily and quickly to calculated nodularity of graphite by SPSS statistical software and to remedy the defaults of universal image analyzer in the calculation.
