Abstract: The frequent perforation reason of the transfer line in Kendong block of Shengli oil field in less than three years was analyzed by means of the inspection of outer protecting coating and pipe material. The results showed that the pipes were bare in use, and the design wall thickness was thin, and the changed pipe material was inaccurate, and the under-deposit corrosion resulted in the frequent perforation.
