Abstract: 316L stainless steel heater′s nozzle corroded soon after running. The results investigated by microstructure test,physical and chemical inspection indicated that the corrosion was caused by falling down of the corrosion resisting property after sensitizing treatment of the heater during manufacture,and the improving advice is given.
