    汽车变速器输入轴校直断裂失效分析

    Failure Analysis on Fracture of an Automobile Gearbox Input Axis When Straightening

    • 摘要: 某汽车变速器输入轴在渗碳淬火热处理后校直时断裂, 采用断口宏微观分析、低倍酸蚀检验、金相检验及硬度测试等方法对输入轴断裂原因进行了分析。结果表明: 该输入轴断裂部位的横向剖面存在棒料未切除干净的残余缩孔缺陷, 使轴直径变化的R部位有效承载面积减小, 成为结构上的危险截面;加之输入轴表面渗碳层存在粗大的马氏体, 脆性较大, 从而导致输入轴在较大的校直外力作用下于应力集中的R部位表面萌生裂纹, 并迅速扩展发生一次性断裂。

       

      Abstract: An automobile gearbox input axis fractured when straightening after carburizing and quenching heat treatment, and the fracture reasons were analyzed by means of macro and micro fracture analysis, acid corrosion test, metallographic examination and hardness test. The results show that there was residual shrinkage defect at transversal section of the input axis, which made the effective bearing area of the R position reduce and become the structural dangerous section. At the same time, the brittleness of the surface carburizing layer was larger because of the coarse martensite microstructure, so cracks formed at the stress concentrated R position surface and fracture happened under action of the large straightening stress.
