Abstract: The ruptured blade of steam turbine that had been used for five years was introduced briefly. Through the fracture analysis of the blade,the analysis about the component of blade material,the microstructure and the capability of the mechanical intensity,the result showed that the phenomenon was fatigu fracture. Some preventive measures for the blade failure were brought forward.
