汽车消声器的腐蚀失效分析

CORROSION FAILURE ANALYSIS OF AUTOMOBILE MUFFLER

摘要: 采用宏观观察、金相分析、X射线衍射和扫描电镜等分析方法对某汽车消声器的腐蚀失效原因进行了分析。结果表明,消声器壳体的化学成分和显微组织都符合SUS409不锈钢的标准要求,但在其腐蚀产物中含有大量的氯离子,而氯离子产生的点蚀及随后的吸氧腐蚀的共同作用,导致消声器失效。

Abstract: The corrosion failure of automobile muffler was analyzed by means of the metallography analysis,XRD and SEM. The results indicted that the chemical compositions and the microstructure of the muffler conformed to specification of SUS409 stainless steel. Based on above analysis,the serious corrosion of automobile muffler was induced by Cl- pitting corrosion and oxygen corrosion.
