Abstract: The reason of machine work difficulty of connecting rod was analyzed by means of chemical composition analysis,mechanical properies testing and microstructure examination. Results showed that the high hardness of connecting rod was the main reason to machine work difficulty. Finally the reformative measure was put forward.
