Abstract: The manufacture situation of American standard steels for low-temperature service in case of A333 Gr.6 steel in China were briefly introduced based on the need of low temperature steel in PDH process. The chemical compositions and low temperature impact property of A333 Gr.6 low-alloy seamless pipe produced by Baosteel were compared with the standard values. Problems encountered in the using of American standard low-temperature steel were discussed from aspects such as design specifications and welding heat treatment, and some suggests were proposed.
