    高氮奥氏体钢低温脆断中的三种断裂刻面

    THREE KINDS OF FRACTURE FACET OF A HIGH NITROGEN BEARING AUSTENITIC STEEL IN LOW TEMPERATURE BRITTLE FRACTURE

    • 摘要: 用扫描电镜对18Cr-18Mn-0.7N高氮奧氏体钢低温脆断中裂纹的形成、扩展及断面进行了分析。结果表明,低温脆断中,首先沿退火孪晶界及晶界形成微裂纹,微裂纹穿晶连接使裂纹扩展,其结果导致断口上形成三种断裂刻面,即光滑平面状退火孪晶界断裂刻面、光滑曲面状沿晶断裂刻面及粗糙不平的穿晶断裂刻面。

       

      Abstract: Crack initiation and propagation and fracture surfaces in low temperature brittle fracture of an 18Cr-18Mn-0.7N high nitrogen bearing austenitic steel were studied by means of scanning electronic microscopy. In the fracture,micro crack initiated at grain boundary and annealing twin boundary. Then the cracks propagated by coalesce through grain. As a result,three kinds of fracture facet exhibited on the fracture surface,i.e.,smooth and flat facet,smooth curved facet and very rough facet,induced by annealing twin boundary cracking,intergranular cracking and transgranular cracking,respectively.
