Abstract: The microstructure and mechanical properties of 12MnNiVR steel for storage tank were analyzed by means of metallographic examination, tensile test, fracture analysis and other methods. The results showed that the mechanical properties of 12MnNiVR steel could meet technological requirements, the fracture mode was ductile fracture and the microstructure was tempered sorbite.
