Abstract: By summarizing and practice,the factors that affected the results of end hardenability test of steel included billet sampling,accuracy of heat treatment operation,preparation of end hardenability test sample,Rock-well hardness test and factitious factors. The operation way and skills to improve the test accuracy were brought forward.
