Abstract: The peeling on surface of 60 kg/m grade rail was analyzed by metallographic test and macroscopic examination.The result showed that longitudinal corner crack and intermediate crack of casting blank led to peeling,and the way to reduce peeling by improving the quality of rail was suggested.
