Abstract: In order to analyze the fracture reason of 60Si2CrVA spring, the analysis such as fracture appearance, microstructure, hardness and chemical compositions were conducted. The results indicated that the fracture of spring was fatigue, it′s prime reason was grinding cracks on the end of the springrests. The prevention measures of grinding cracks on springs, which exhibited the special value for guiding the production, have been proposed.
