    排气阀杆密封面开裂原因

    Cracking reason of exhaust valve steam seal surface

    • 摘要: 某型柴油机排气阀杆密封面发生开裂事故。采用宏观观察、化学成分分析、力学性能测试、扫描电镜及能谱分析、金相检验等方法对阀杆开裂的原因进行分析。结果表明:该阀杆使用环境中存在硬质颗粒,在阀杆密封面贴合基座的过程中,硬质颗粒对密封面造成了损伤,形成了微裂纹,在交变应力的作用下,裂纹不断扩展,最终导致阀杆发生疲劳开裂。

       

      Abstract: The sealing surface of exhaust valve stem of a diesel engine cracked. The causes of valve stem cracking were analyzed by means of macroscopic observation, chemical composition analysis, mechanical property test, scanning electron microscope and energy spectrum analysis, metallographic examination. The results show that there were hard particles in the service environment of the valve stem. In the process of the valve stem sealing surface sticking to the base, the hard particles caused damage to the sealing surface and formed micro cracks. Under the action of alternating stress, the cracks continued to expand, eventually led to fatigue cracking of the valve stem.
