Abstract:
Based on the basic principle of testing residual stress using blind hole method, experimental calibration and plastic correction research were conducted on the strain release coefficients
A and
B of 5083 aluminum alloy material. The results indicated that when the stress was below 0.6 times the yield strength, the strain release coefficients
A and
B remained relatively stable. When the stress exceeded 0.6 times the yield strength,
A and
B showed a significant downward trend. After the implementation of the correction, the absolute value of the relative error within the entire stress range could be controlled within 3.62%. Compared with the calculation results before correction, the testing accuracy had been significantly improved.
