    铝合金构件开裂原因

    Reasons for cracking of aluminum alloy components

    • 摘要: 某海装用7系铝合金构件在焊缝附近出现裂纹。采用宏观观察、化学成分分析、扫描电镜及能谱分析、金相检验等方法对构件开裂的原因进行分析。结果表明:构件表面油漆局部脱落,使得构件表面直接接触腐蚀性介质,造成点蚀;热影响区在焊接热循环作用下沿晶析出了链状η-MgZn2相,降低了晶界的耐腐蚀性,且该处存在较大的焊接残余应力,使点蚀坑处萌生裂纹,最终导致构件开裂。

       

      Abstract: A crack appeared near the weld seam of a 7 series aluminum alloy component used in a certain marine installation. The causes of component cracking were analyzed by macroscopic observation, chemical composition analysis, scanning electron microscopy and energy spectrum analysis, metallographic examination. The results show that the paint on the surface of the component partially peeled off, causing direct contact with corrosive media and resulting in pitting corrosion. Chain like η-MgZn2 phase precipitated along the grain boundary in the heat affected zone under welding thermal cycling, reducing the corrosion resistance of the grain boundary. There was also significant welding residual stress in this area, which led to crack initiation at the pitting corrosion pit and ultimately resulted in component cracking.
