    失效分析体系的新诠释

    New interpretation of the failure analysis system

    • 摘要: 探究现有的失效分析体系,以期推动该体系的重塑和发展。首先,对失效的多种定义进行了评述,在此基础上提出了失效的新定义,以深刻理解失效的本质。其次,在失效模式的重新分类中,提出了畸变失效模式,将其作为工程材料的第四种失效模式,取代以往常用的变形失效模式。然后,通过引入“五要素”概念,即失效模式、失效形式、失效缺陷、失效机理和失效原因,构建了失效分析新体系,而失效形式的嵌入使该体系更加完整。同时,阐明了失效模式与失效机理的本质区别及其内在关系,强调失效机理是识别失效原因的关键。最后,给出了金属材料失效模式与失效机理相互关系的新表述,揭示出不同的失效机理对应于不一样的失效原因。

       

      Abstract: The existing failure analysis system is explored with the expectation of its reshaping and development. Firstly, the various definitions of failure are reviewed. Based on this, a new definition of failure is proposed, thereby gaining a profound understanding of the nature of failure. Secondly, in the reclassification of failure modes, a distortion failure mode is suggested, which is regarded as the fourth failure mode of engineering materials, replacing the deformation failure mode commonly used in the past. Thirdly, through introducing the concept of five elements, namely, failure mode, failure form, failure defect, failure mechanism, and failure cause, a new system of failure analysis is established, and the implant of failure form makes the system more complete. At the same time, the essential difference and relationship between failure mode and failure mechanism are elaborated. It is stressed that the failure mechanism is the key to identifying failure cause. Finally, a new expression of the relationship between failure mode and failure mechanism of metallic materials is given, revealing different failure mechanisms correspond to various failure causes.
