    压铸铝合金转向节断裂原因

    Reasons for fracture of die cast aluminum alloy steering knuckle

    • 摘要: 某压铸铝合金转向节发生断裂现象。采用宏观观察、化学成分分析、工业计算机断层成像分析、扫描电镜及能谱分析、金相检验、力学性能测试等方法对转向节断裂原因进行分析。结果表明:转向节断口主要集中在上表面靠近外径区域,断口附近存在疏松和裂纹等铸造缺陷,缺陷处产生了应力集中,使材料的强度下降,在压装力的作用下,缺陷处萌生裂纹,裂纹不断扩展,最终导致转向节发生韧性断裂。

       

      Abstract: A certain die cast aluminum alloy steering knuckle broke. The reasons for the fracture of the steering knuckle were analyzed using macroscopic observation, chemical composition analysis, industrial computer tomography imaging analysis, scanning electron microscopy and energy spectrum analysis, metallographic examination, mechanical property testing. The results show that the fracture of the steering knuckle mainly concentrated in the upper surface near the outer diameter area, and there were casting defects such as looseness and cracks near the fracture. Stress concentration occurred at the defect site, causing a decrease in the strength of the material. Under the action of the pressing force, cracks appeared at the defect site, and the cracks continued to propagate, ultimately leading to ductile fracture of the steering knuckle.
