    Cause of fracture of P-type clamp with gasket

    • 摘要: 某型飞机固定线缆的带垫P型卡箍在服役期间多次发生断裂。采用宏观观察、化学成分分析、扫描电镜分析、金相检验及有限元分析等方法,研究了卡箍断裂的原因。结果表明:卡箍断裂形式为多源起裂的双向弯曲疲劳断裂,断裂原因是卡箍悬臂安装,导致卡箍安装脚表面应力过大,存在应力集中,在交变应力的反复作用下,应力集中部位发生疲劳断裂。将卡箍安装方式改为贴合安装,可避免该位置卡箍发生疲劳断裂。

       

      Abstract: The P-type clamp with gasket for the fixed cable of a certain aircraft has experienced multiple fractures during service. The cause of clamp fracture was studied using methods such as macroscopic observation, chemical composition analysis, scanning electron microscopy analysis, metallographic examination and finite element analysis. The results show that the clamp experienced a bidirectional bending fatigue fracture with multiple sources of cracking. The reason for the fracture was due to the cantilever installation of the clamp, which resulted in excessive stress on the surface of the clamp mounting foot and stress concentration. Under the repeated action of alternating stress, fatigue fracture occurred in the stress concentration area. Changing the installation method of the clamp to a snug fit installation, fatigue fracture of the clamp at the position could be avoided.
