    Zr-1锆锭缺陷形成原因

    Cause of defect in Zr-1 zirconium ingot

    • 摘要: 某Zr-1锆锭在进行无损检测时发现内部存在缺陷。采用宏观观察、化学成分分析、金相检验、硬度测试、扫描电镜及能谱分析等方法,对该缺陷的形成原因进行了分析。结果表明:锆锭缺陷的形成原因是熔炼时使用的电极被污染,引入了外来夹杂物,导致铜元素被引入Zr-1锆锭,未熔化的氧化铜颗粒和熔化的铜形成了锆铜合金,在Zr-1锆锭中形成了硬脆相夹杂物。

       

      Abstract: Internal defect was found in a Zr-1 zirconium ingot during nondestructive testing. The cause of the defect was analyzed by means of macroscopic observation, chemical composition analysis, metallographic examination, hardness test, scanning electron microscope and energy spectrum analysis. The results show that the defect of zirconium ingot was caused by the contamination of the electrode used during smelting and the introduction of foreign inclusions, which led to the introduction of copper into Zr-1 zirconium ingot, the formation of zirconium copper alloy by unmelted copper oxide particles and molten copper, and the formation of hard and brittle inclusions in Zr-1 zirconium ingot.
